Hosted by Kevin Santos, we explored the rich and intricate relationships between Filipinas/os/xs and the sport of Basketball through an insightful Ethnic Studies lens. During this engaging workshop, we delved into the historical roots of basketball and its introduction to the Philippines. We examined how the game has not only thrived in the Philippines but also transcended boundaries and cultural barriers throughout the expansive Filipina/o/x diaspora.
