At Kapwa Cultural Center, volunteers are the heart of everything we do. Whether you’re helping out at the café, working behind the scenes, or joining us at special events—the time, energy, and passion you give help us build community and culture.

Ways to Get involved

  • Help with opening & closing, taking orders, drink preparation, cleaning, customer service. No prior café experience required (but helpful if you have it).

    Flexible shifts; recurring volunteers especially welcome.

  • Assist at events, pop-ups, and community outreach; help with logistics, promotion, or supporting workshops.

    As needed; volunteer outreach list notifications.

  • Host a workshop, lend your skills, or partake in one of our programs as a facilitator.

    As needed; based on skills, certifications, and experience.

  • We host various events throughout the year, we’re always looking for extra hands in assisting the KKC team.

  • For café roles: helpful if you have experience in food service, but not required
