VENUE RENTAL FAQs

  • Preferred hours: Wednesday–Friday, 12PM–6PM (during staff availability)
    Outside hours: Negotiable upon consultation. See below for more information.

  • Hosting an event DURING business hours is possible, complete form for consultation. There is no rental fee, however, we suggest that there is a minimum of 5 drinks purchased/hour of the event (equivalent to $50/hour donation).

    Hosting an event OUTSIDE of business hours (before or after we close or on days we are closed) starts at $100/hour for non-profits and $200/hour for businesses/corporations. Please complete form for consultation. Booking dependent upon staffing.

    Business Hours:

    Wednesday-Friday 12pm-6pm

    Saturday 11am-5pm

    Sunday-Tuesday Closed to public; open for venue rentals

  • If you’d like to buy out the café during open hours, please complete form to request a consultation.
    Pricing is based on nonprofit or corporate status and annual budget.

  • Renting a table or section of the café during operational hours may be possible. Complete the form to request a consultation.

  • Please submit your rental request 3–4 weeks before your event. This ensures staff scheduling and smooth planning.

  • We have a directory of local vendors and restaurants for outside food catering. Yes, Kapwa café can also cater drinks from our boba menu for your event.

  • Complete our venue rental form. Our events coordinator will get in touch within 5-7 business days.
