Boogie Down Brisbane

  • Brisbane Community Park 11 Old County Road Brisbane, Ca 94005 United States (map)

Community members of all ages are invited to gather for the first annual Boogie Down Brisbane, a hip hop benefit concert, that will showcase a vibrant, family-friendly lineup of hip hop music, art, activities, and community solidarity on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The free event aims to spread awareness and raise funds for the three nonprofit organizers, Kapwa Kultural Center, Lyrical Opposition, and Rock The School Bells (RTSB).

Organizers aim to rally the community around arts, culture, and youth empowerment at a time when funding for community-based programming has been increasingly constrained due to dramatic shifts in the funding landscape.

“Boogie Down” is a nod to community-centered gatherings like Berkeley’s hip hop in the park events. These reflect both a celebration of hip hop and culture, as well as a call to action.
